"Got to check out
@rivianofficial and
@amazon collab project. This is the new Amazon EDV or electric delivery van. It’s manufactured and powered by Rivian who already makes some pretty impressive EV’s. This thing looks AWESOME (which I never thought I’d say about a delivery van). It has this adorable, animated face that Amazon says is meant to look friendly. This thing will always be in shopping centers, neighborhoods, etc so they wanted something that didn’t look intimidating. They also wanted a unique enough face that whenever a kid goes to look out the window, they get excited to see “THE AMAZON TRUCK!”. Personally, I think they nailed it. Inside, it’s pretty…..NICE. 😳
Drivers gets heated & ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, the same touch screens/digital display from the Rivian trucks & SUVs, the same steering wheel, Prime blue seat belts, a heated windshield, one-pedal driving, wireless charging pad, Bluetooth, 360 degree camera, rear cross traffic alert, emergency braking, and even the trainee seat is heated. 🤯 Drivers get a neat little key to clip onto their shirt and the entire back end is Prime blue with Tron-like tail lights. This may not mean much for consumers….or does it? This is an adventure themed EV company. They already have parts for a van. They wouldn’t have to make a new platform and they could potentially be the first to market with a “van-life” style van? I think there’s more behind this collab than meets the 👁.
Video coming soon!"
