I wonder if they will allow the first recipients speak freely before delivery, I could see wanting to have their own press release rather than hear say from order holders. Another possibility is they may be waiting for the government approvals from the EPA and NHTSA before finalizing delivery dates.

Are you sure you're 5153? I also ordered mine on Nov 29th 2018 and my number is 2255. You should be 2153 then? I also believe that they started with number 1000. There is an early order that I've seen who's number is 1605. So I believe the first 600 (above 1000) were for test vehicles and prototypes. Just my guess.

I am in Texas also, order #6309 R1T LE, Blue, Large pack and heard nothing either. I wonder if we are getting left out due to no service center yet in process, and what about the issues with franchise dealership nonsense in Texas? Will that keep us at the back of the line also? BTW, I am in Dallas so near the 'potential' new plant in Fort Worth...of course a long way out, but would be nice to get some vehicles into the DFW area

My order date is Feb 2019, i deducted 1000 from the order number in the header: "Rivian Account"

Yep seems about right . . . my order date was Feb 2019 and my number pops in at 5483 (actual number is 6483, so minus 1000)

It should be noted that I opt'ed not to order the Launch Edition, so expecting my delivery to be delayed.

I'm #973, but I still haven't heard from a guide. I am however an R1S order. I know they were tracking 2 months behind R1T before the delay. I haven't heard anything about if they will still be 2 months behind or if everything has begun to sync up with the delays.

The EPA numbers are in, what else are holdups? One third of September gone. Still nothing. Rivian has had my $ 1000 for 2.75 years and allowed me to only indicate my desired configuration. And we continue wait in the dark.

How do you get your order number?

^ you can't "find" your order number any longer. Rivian randomized the order numbers months ago when the realized people were finding it from their account details.
