I don’t recommend it with independent rear suspension. You want weight of the trailer over the solid rear axle. The bed of the truck is so small, you wouldn’t be able to maneuver as well, which is the advantage of gooseneck or fifth wheel. I drive a RAM 3500 duel wheels rear daily, I tow bumper pull, fifth wheel, and gooseneck. Bed of my truck is 8 feet. I am looking forward to retiring RAM as an daily driver to a tow vehicle only!
