Hello does anyone know of a service agreement with Canadian Tire or other service providers?

Hi @RFMARKS! I haven't seen or heard anything about Rivian partnering with Canadian Tire for servicing or anyone else. Would that be who you'd want to use rather than reaching out to Rivian?

No, I heard that Rivian was partnering with them and other auto supply stores for service. I'm trying to confirm that.

I'm wondering about this. One one hand, I just don't see it happening. On the other, if Canadian Tire wants to continue to service cars, and in particular, EVs, then at some point a temporary arrangement might be in their best interest. Since there's currently only 1 service center getting built out in Vancouver, I wonder how quickly Rivian would move to build up a few service locations in Canada since they're expected to start Canadian deliveries in September. It might be a smart thing to join up with a network for some support up front.

Considering that Canadian Tire is putting in a lot of the Electrify Canada chargers, this would not be the worst choice...

Yes, it makes business sense. I can't find anything on the web about any arrangement.

Ah ok, it would be a good idea for Rivian to do something like that especially for owners that aren't in a major city. Where did you hear about them partnering together?
