It looks like some changes were made to the camp kitchen, like the locking mechanism and fit.
Everything I've heard says that it does include install. My only "concern" is that when these arrive, we have to schedule an appointment at our local service centers to have them installed. Still cannot lock down from Rivian if the $5000 INCLUDES installation or not.
I heard "September", but I think that was just to keep me from my daily asking until SeptemberI wanted to resurrect this posting because I'd like to know if anyone (who has already taken delivery of their R1Ts) have been given any promise date for the Camp Kitchen. I am told by Rivian they will honor the package Pre March 1st pricing, but still not been given a targeted timeline for it. Does anyone else have any updates, rumors, feelings, fairy tales, folklore, or legends to share on this matter?
If you do try this, just don't post a video claiming to have made something "just as good" as the Rivian camp kitchen for only $200 by putting a used George Foreman grill and a set of Ginsu knives into your gear tunnel.I find myself wondering if for $5k I might wanna just fabricate my own solution.
