For those that plan on taking their Rivian's camping, The Fast Lane looked at what it's like to charge an EV while camping with a gas generator. They used a Tesla Model X and a Smart EV as their test vehicles. From the video it is possible to charge an EV with a generator but it will take a long time to do it.
