I’m in Tesla’s camp in terms of the “A plugged-in EV is a happy EV”. When I park in the garage, no matter what the current SOC, the truck gets plugged in & is set to charge to 70%.
That’s fine, bur given the amount of vampire drain right now, at what depleted SOC will the truck start charging again to top off back to 70%? Is it even “smart” enough to know it’s still connected to shore power and can supp from the grid when necessary to get back to the target SOC?
