It is -10°f with heavy winds, still dark at the farm 6:30am. I set Rivian to charge at 6am, so battery would be warmed.
At 6:15, I got a message that charging failed and to go outside unplug and try again.
Question: why do I have to physically go out in the cold and not reset from phone and will this be a common experience every time it goes below zero?

Okay. Rivian has a sense of humor. Once I got out there to unplug and replug as app said, it started charging on it's own without me touching it. Chilly doing morning chores in the biting wind. All livestock made it fine
