I've loved that Rivian has gone its own way with sizing compared to all the (too large) competition coming down the pike, but I'm guessing a VW would be closer to the R1T (or smaller).
What do y'all think?

Looks like a truck J-Lo would drive to me. There's probably a market for that, but not here. LOL

I see it as more of a step up from the Maverick and Santa Cruz.

It might be competition for Rivian if they launch a smaller and sportier pickup.

That’s a Hard No

VW is after the mass market where as the R1T in it's current format is after the premium segment with an eye for the mass in the future. VW's products are good but not anything close to what I want. I recently test drove an ID4 Pros S AWD; coming from a Tesla M3 AWD, it's not even close. I tested the Mach E and I like it but no super fast charging and no towing capability, for a CUV, no thanks.
