Yeah the dealer lobby is strong in several states. I believe West Virginia is working on a law to block OTAs of any kind to vehicles. This shows the stupidity of lawmakers at its best. Sales people at dealers don't really provide any service today. I can look at all options, colors, combos, pricing etc online then call dozens of dealers to find the car I want at the price I want.
