I have just learned that even if my R1S with an expects October delivery was ready today, the state of NC doesn’t allow direct sales of automobiles from a manufacturer EXCEPT for a legislative exception of Tesla. The same law applies to servicing the vehicle at your house. Any other states in this forum with the same rules and how in the heck does Rivian tell me they will have my car to me by year end of this law is in place?
