The F-150 Lightning has been awarded the 2023 North American Truck of the Year award. Given that the other finalists were the Lordstown Endurance and Silverado ZR2 seems like it was the clear choice.

If the do deserve it for 2023, then the R1T should have been awarded it in 2022!!!

My only question on this is it came out in 2022 as a 2022. I always thought this award was not best vehicle on the market but best “new” vehicle so should not have been eligible. That is unless they made some major change between 2022 and 2023 that I missed.

Caveat, those were rules from a long time ago, I have not kept up with how they do these awards in years.
