It looks like Rivian is starting to confirm orders for the dual motor R1T.
Just received the confirm your configuration email for my Dual Motor LA silver R1T preorder from March 2022 (trying to get that tax credit). Was surprised since I didn’t think the dual motor was nearing production quite yet.
As y’all can imagine I was pretty damn stoked and reached out to my guide. He said they are having folks confirm their configs earlier than they used to in order to help streamline the order matching process. So guessing I’m still gonna be waiting for a while…
