Ever since I received my R1T the gear tunnel compartment door never close fully(where first aid kit and air compressor hose) Has anyone else had these type of issues?

Yep. Same here.

Same for mine. They just don’t sit flat. A rivian service tech saw it while here for other issues and told me I should log a ticket to get them replaced.

Do they close flat when you remove the air compressor and first aid kits? Is the door actually warped? Or is the stuff in the compartment pushing on the door?

Make sure the lanyard strap inside isn't getting on between the door and the casing?

Mine are pretty lame, too. Even if I remove the stuff from the compartments they still sit kinda funny when latched. I think it’s the type and/or thickness of plastic they used.

The closures are not engineered to the Rivian standard, I would say...

I just took delivery today and checked this. Mine did the same thing. However, my delivery person showed me the trick was to simply push harder until the final latch catch and viola! I'm not sure if this is the same thing you all are experiencing, but mine are working as expected once I was shown the proper way to close them.

I believe that everybody is talking about the interior plastic "doors" that you step on when the gear tunnel is open. The have a single latching point and if the First Aid Kit or compressor kit are not completely flush the plastic door platforms don't sit down flush. Is this what you are describing also?
