Let me preface this question by saying I’ve only had the truck 2day. Loaded up for the weekend beach trip with the wife and 3tike now I’ve gotten a big red box on the main display saying my door (left side only) is either open or motion has been detected inside the tunnel and to stop immediately to secure cargo and or closed the door.
I get this is for idiots who think they can stuff a person in there.
However does anyone know a way to get this off the screen without stopping the truck, getting out and physically opening the door? Try this on the highway a few times and tell me what’s dangerous…
I’ll bother CS on Tuesday once the weekend is over.

FIXED: 1min resolution. I gave the gear tunnel's interior emergency pushbutton release and its plastic trim surround a good look and noticed that it wasn't fully clipped into place and was able to "jiggle" around while driving. A quick snap into place and the problem has gone away!!!

I had the same problem. Same resolution. Disappointed that Rivian service did not respond to my service request.

Rivian service is a profound disappointment and any minor issue they refer you to a collision center and then back to Rivian Service Center for a recalibration. THhy don't listen to you, but read robotically from a manual and are not capable of trying to understand you. As soon as you need any type of repair, reality will hit that this company has not set up a properly trained and available service center network. This will catch up to them quickly and take the luster off this truck. My experience has been miserable for a week with no easy resolution and their offering no solution, and they don't even read each other's notes when they call

I have had good luck with CS on the two occasions I called with a problem. Hopefully they won’t outsource to Asia or India/Packistan in the future.
