Anyone here from San Francisco expecting to take delivery of a Glacier White Rivian R1T soon?
That used to be true but starting in January of 2019 the dealers are required to put a temporary paper tag on cars in California when they are delivered, this is a sample of what they look like.Ummm, you don't take delivery of a vehicle with a plate already on it. Plus, I do not see the distinct "California" in red cursive at the center top of the plate. Also, the standard plate for a passenger vehicle in California uses dark blue lettering and not black. not to mention the font is different too. I would say this vehicle may have been spotted in San Fran, but it is not plated for California which means it is being trucked to California from another state. So it is not a new delivery.
New cars in CA now come with a temporary paper plate, black on white, instead of the window sticker. The permanent plates have the same # unles a special plate is ordered!Ummm, you don't take delivery of a vehicle with a plate already on it.
