Car Tire Vehicle Wheel Automotive tail & brake light

GM Design shared a photo of the Sierra EV on Instagram and some keen eyes pointed out that it looks very similar to a photo of a R1T. Coincidence? Or did GM take the Rivian photo and photoshop the Sierra EV on it?

It looks like GM Design deleted the post after it was pointed out.

WOW

I just clicked the Instagram link and it does look like GMC took ACN's advice and deleted the first pic.

What's wild, is that, assuming this is all accurate (and I'm inclined to believe ACN here), the image is signed by Thomas Bergeron. I can't pretend to know who that is (I'm assuming its not the TV host 😝), but in the updated version of the Instagram post, his name is taken out of the caption.

I hope we hear something official from GMC here.
