Unbelievable.
The 4 year pre-order saga continues.
After flurry of activity the last three days I was sent purchase agreement, and VIN number.
I completed all paperwork, wired deposit, got insurance and then when I got to delivery I had two choices. Pick RT up 3 hours away today or tomorrow. No other option available (like they claimed they would deliver to my address )
Made appointment to pick up the truck at railroad yard tomorrow Saturday May 28, 2022 at 1:30 in Houston. Received confirmation with happy delivery message from my guide.
Rivian sent message at 3:40 today that my delivery was canceled for tomorrow.
Called guide and learned truck was not even in Houston to be picked up.
No date for when I can drive 3 hours to pick up truck.
I believed enough in Rivian to purchase maximum amount of their stock at IPO as "owners" and am currently down $5,000.
Rivian needs new management across the board!
