It's so annoying and selfish when someone parks their gas/diesel vehicle in an EV charging spot. Has anyone else seen something like this when they're out and about?

why not? i would do this all the time in the Model S on road trips, as it takes 2 hours to charge from 0 to 100% on a supercharger. just enough time for me to nap and hit the road again when it's done charging. How about this?
Don't Sleep in your EV at a Charging Station
At the start of the EV revolution businesses would put an EV charger at the front of their parking lots in the prime locations thinking this would reward EV owners. In actuality it just angered the public and made the ICE’ing problem worse. I, and many Tesla owners, went on a campaign to lobby Tesla and businesses to install chargers at the back of their parking lots in the least desirable spots.Welcome to the world of mean-spirited people. As an ev driver you will see this a lot
depends on the state. Unfortunately in many states is still perfectly legal to park in an EV spot with a non-EV.people need to realize a tow company will be more than happy to come tow the cars that are blocking. It is illegal and the car will then have to pay to get their car back, they will learn there lesson fast
I think this is where those states that don't allow the resale of energy actually do some good. Since the charger companies there charge for parking instead of energy, they have every right to tow. This definitely is something that should be addressed with any ev grid buildout the Fed's push though. What good would it be to install 100,000 charger stations if they aren't protected from misuse.depends on the state. I like your thinking.Flatten their tires! It will be the last time they park there. I know, not cool but one can only turn their cheek so many times…. And, yes I pack too!
A story from my distant past. It was Christmas time, and the parking lot at my local mall was filled to overflowing. I made a few trips up and down the lot, and finally found someone walking to their car with packages. I followed them until the guy until he got to his car, then pulled aside and put the 4-ways on. It was a while before they finally pulled out of the spot, and traffic was heavy. When he finally backed out of the spot, despite my frantic flashing of the headlights and hornbeeps to indicate I was waiting, someone just cruising by zipped in. I got out of my car and informed the woman behind the wheel of the offending vehicle that I'd been waiting and that she was being very rude. She said something like "tough shit, I beat you to it", then flipped me the bird and walked toward the mall entrance.Flatten their tires! It will be the last time they park there. What she did was wrong. What you did was also wrong.A story from my distant past. It was Christmas time, and the parking lot at my local mall was filled to overflowing. I simply waited for a while, then got the valve tool from my glove box and removed all four valves from each of her tires, placing them on the windshield. Probably not cool, but not destructive and perhaps even instructive.
I carry a valve tool with me to this day, but that's the only time I used it for something like that.
I would say vey instructive! Affirmative action like this is not “wrong” but an attempt at teaching civility without destroying property.Probably not cool, but not destructive and perhaps even instructive.
