Tom from State of Charge/inside EVs ran a separate 70 mph test. His result was 254 miles although he did note that the weather wasn’t ideal with some high winds and wet roads. But they used that result for their website. He did indicate he’d try to get access to the R1T again in the future to try and rerun the test with better conditions.

But on OoS Inside EV test it got 289 miles at 70 mph.
Why do they publish a much lower number in their overall list?
Watched OutofSpec's with the 288 mile result so I'll go with that vs. a bad weather test.Tom from State of Charge/inside EVs ran a separate 70 mph test. His result was 254 miles although he did note that the weather wasn’t ideal with some high winds and wet roads.
Going up and down hills will reduce the mileage, the ups take out more than the downs add in. 1.73 per kWh no? That would be 229 mile range for the 135kWh battery. 104F will reduce range about 20% so without the heat 287 miles range, probably about right for driving in the hills with AC working hard. Have to figure a sunshade for the glass roof would reduce the AC load.Mostly canyon driving under 40 MPH with about 10 miles of freeway driving.
