That's why I'm glad actual enthusiasts have become vloggers...I just love how in our "modern" automotive journalism tech shows align much in the same way as paper and magazine journalists did 20-30 years ago! Never take a stance, never offend any manufacturer lest ye be cut off from future press demos, always say some good things to keep on the good graces of all OEMs.
Kyle's conclusion is 100% in keeping with that train of thought! Don't judge, don't piss off anyone. Be informative but not critical and you will not bite the hands that feed you.

I have to sat I really like all the things I've heard/read about the Rivian. But it's like you said there's the practicality issue. I live in Texas and to visit my dad on the other side of the state it's a 14 hour drive. If I had to stop and recharge 3 times that would make it what a 20+ trip. For long trips it’s still too dependent on the charging infrastructure.
