After receiving the "time to confirm configuration" email I quickly moved through the steps of finance, insurance and purchase agreement. The last step, Schedule Delivery, will hopefully happen soon!! This was a nice Cyber Monday surprise!

Congrats @RivG! How are you going to spec your R1S?

I ordered the R1S Launch Edition (quad-motor, large battery pack, launch green, 20" all-terrain, black mountain, dark ash wood interior, tow hooks, cargo crossbars, wall charger, all weather floor mats). Expected delivery anytime from 12/8/22 to 12/31/22.

This morning was pickup day! Took the 6:30 am train from DC to Richmond for the scheduled 10 am pickup. As soon as my driver pulled onto the lot there were two smiling Rivian employees waiting for me, adjacent to the beautiful beast. The look of the R1S blew me away, it looks even better in person. After a 30-45 minute meet-and-greet to explain its features and controls, the R1S and I were on the road barreling to i95. A short and fun 2.5 hours later I was back at my office in DC. This car is amazing - I'm more impressed with its style than anything else (and yes I'm impressed with all the other "things"). It's a beautiful piece of machinery - amazing.
