How is this an improvement over yesterday? Their "two years of production" is later defined as '21 and '22. 2021 is half over and they won't be ready to start production for some months still. If the article is to be believed then they have the capacity to produce 20,000 cars a year. So the article implies that they have 40,000 orders but there's an awful lot of gibberish in there.
They plan to make ~2K cars by end of year (2021). That's been their goal for a while.
And by May of 2022, they expect to produce ~15K-20K.

So, roughly they say they expect to have have ~22K in demand they can meet with their current capital.

They have close to 60K/year production capacity in their factory right now, but stopped expanding due capital constraints -- but can expand if they get more capital.
