Finally sat down and dove into rebates and credits for our Rivian purchase. Turns out MA is currently matching the federal rebate at $7,500 for the level 1 block for 2b class trucks (over 8,500 lbs). There are less than 200 vouchers left in this level of the class 1 block.

How do you claim that if your truck weighs less than 8500lbs? Thought it had to be over $50K and over 8500lbs to qualify, no?

Yeah, it’s great to get $7500 off the vehicle. I’ve submitted all the documentation for my MOR-EV Trucks rebate and am waiting on their formal approval. They did indicate that they’ve previously approved the rebate for the r1t but each application is considered on case by case basis.
