My ChargePoint charger has several colored lights: white, green, blue, and (today), what do they mean? This morning, the charger displayed red. I unplugged the charger from my R1T, and it was fully charged. What is the meaning of the red display - I assume a fault?

So, now it's about 2 hours later and my wife has returned. I plugged in the charger again and a message came up "waiting for charger". After a few minutes nothing had happened, so I unplugged it from the car and turned off its breaker. Turned it back on, reconnected the R1T, and "waiting for charger" reappeared. Then the message completely disappeared. Another minute, and the message reappeared, and then charging started. So far, so good, but what's happening?

My Siemens charger gives red signals when one of the Bolts stops charging before reaching 100% SoC. Resetting the control buttons (one push left, five pushes right) readies the charger for the next session.

I don't know if ChargePoint has similar controls/lights or not, @michael.t.vaughan. Sounds as if you're figuring it out.

Best wishes!

Whenever a red LED ring warning appears on my ChargePoint charger, I reset it by switching the breaker off, waiting for about thirty seconds, and then turning the breaker back on. If that doesn't work, contact ChargePoint technical support.

LED Color Meanings
• Green: Ready to charge (blinking green means a charge schedule is set).
• Blue: Plugged in (pulsing blue means the station is actively charging the car).
• Red: Indicates a fault or error; contact support if this appears.
• White: Not connected to WiFi (blinking white means the charger needs to be activated or configured).
