I purchased a badlands 12000 lb winch. (Yeah Matt's Off-road Recovery inspired). I plan on getting a hitch
mount and having it be removable. Anybody plan on mounting a winch in the front. I know Rivian thought about it but never followed through. Should I just get a removable hitch mount or can I mount it up front behind the bumper.

If you watch the Munro tear down videos there is one where they show the front end structure without the trim and they show you how the tow hooks are attached. That will give you a good idea of where the existing mounting points are, should you want to put on a front bumper-mounted winch.
