Headlights + tail lights tints would also look pretty great on black! Mine is black and I have tinted everything 😃

Absolutely sick!!! Can't wait for mine! I'm about 2 weeks out from delivery, and have the Midnight with OC interior on 22s. As soon as I leave the SC, I'm headed straight to the wrap shop! Congrats on yours!!!

Hell yeah, and thank you!

I wanted to Ceramic Coat mine ASAP but I found a couple paint imperfections that Rivian is taking care of so it will have to wait until next month.
Congrats, I have nearly the same config (just different rims)! How much time between when your guide is assigned and Rivian starts build? My estimated delivery is July - August 2023 and I am wondering when I should expect to hear something!

Very exciting, you're close!

So you don't have a guide yet?

I think guide contact > build > delivery is a little inconsistent and different for everyone unfortunately.

I was assigned a VIN 2 days after my guide was assigned and then I scheduled the intro call.

Intro call to delivery was 1 month.
These posts don't help my effort to move away from black cars. I have two and the R1 on order is silver. BUT, every time I see a black R1-it draws me back to black. Beautiful car! Don't post anymore photos.

Just curious... i am getting mine in 2 weeks and for some reason I saw the destination fee ($1800) and prep fee ($275) added to purchase price. Was that known and obvious to everyone else? Or is that a surprise to others? It is what it is and I'm still excited, but that's not a minor delivery and prep charge.
Nice! It really seems like a ton of R1S's are being released at the same time right now. I got a guide call about 4/29 and found a great one in the R1 shop, should be picking it up in LA around 6/10. Seems like a ton of orders are being fulfilled suddenly, which I'm stoked about seeing more on the road. Congrats on yours!

What location are you at? Perhaps destination fees vary by location based on distance from Normal.

I got the exact same fees for here at the Denver SC. I wasn’t expecting quite so high of a price. Still excited to get it in a couple weeks!

For me, it was assumed, since every car maker seems to charge a destination fee and a bunch of other fees.

I am nowhere near Normal Illinois but I assume someone who does a pickup at the factory could get the fee waived.
I got $1800 destination and $70 document. if it knocked $1800 off I def would have flown out there and picked it up. Would have been a good reason to visit family and no way it would have cost that much for the roadtrip. Anyone get the fee waived to pickup at factory?
Don't think they or any mfg discount/delete the destination fee on a factory delivery. I vaguely recall something about industry std charge.
I was told destination charges are charged from the manufacturers to the dealerships and gets passed on to the buyers. Dealerships don't normally negotiate this with the buyers. Whether you pick up the vehicle from the manufacturer location or dealerships, this charges are passed on to the buyer. Normally the destination/delivery charges include cost to prepare the vehicle to the buyer (qa insp, transport, cleaning, fuel, etc), and all manufacturers include this charge.
Received this from my Guide the other day.
"I can see that your vehicle is currently in transit to a Service Center in your area where it will complete final quality checks. I don't have an ETA to share just yet but we are getting close to the finish line." Also received a text yesterday from the Service Center saying the vehicle should arrive next week and to complete the last steps of the purchase process.

FWIW - My last Audi had a $1000 destination charge.
