That's a super hire. Ford did something similar hiring Audi's production chief to handle the MachE startup which has been a huge success.

Now I wonder if with him they can get 2023 production output much higher than this years.

Wasn't that debunked in another thread? There wasn't a 50,000 a year first year production number.

That quote refers to the Normal factory capacity. Normal could produce 50,000 pa, but because of supply chain issues they can only do half of that.
