No, not exactly, that is what happened initially earlier last week, when I got thru to step 8.

Then on Friday afternoon Step 8 was magically unlocked (app and on my Mac). So, after logging-in, it shows steps 7/8 are complete and says "complete the steps to get your vehicle delivered". I have had this message since Friday. When you click "VIEW STEPS" and tap "08 Schedule Delivery"I see "Let's plan your delivery" then click continue to confirm my address. Then it showed "Choose a Delivery Experience". I had 3 choices: #1. Rivan Delivery to my house (No appointments available) #2. Pick up at local Service Center in Chelsea (No appointments available) and Carrier Delivery (not an option).

I just logged back in to check-it and they removed the service center delivery option this AM - but that is all that has changed. My guide did reach out this AM, so hopefully working through it... Waiting to hear back.

Sorry to hear about that my friend. Seems like a glitch. Good luck.
No worries and congrats on your delivery! At least I have a VIN, and at least it seems to be headed in the Northeasterly direction. Worst case, I should be ready for a pick-up at the service center next week.
I took delivery on Friday in Hudson NH. It was delivered on a flatbed lettered Rivian. The delivery was for 2pm. He showed up a few minutes past 2pm. He went through the whole vehicle. Then we went out for a test drive. All good. I have Illinois temp plate on it for now. The entire process starting with my 45 minute call to meet my Rivian guide Chimere to the 8 step process to the delivery was outstanding! Kudos to John who delivered the truck! No paper was exchanged! No need for paper! I then spent the weekend in Boston with it. I was up at 6am Saturday morning and in it by 6:30am. I spent almost 3 hours driving all through the city. The truck is a celebrity! Tons of thumbs up! Next step. Purchasing Rivian stock. View attachment 5784

Bobby Sunshine It’s nice to see that you photoshopped 84 MPH onto that screen. Lol

Enjoy every bit of your truck!

Thanks. Of course I photocopied it Somerville. I would never drive that fast. Hahaha!
Mine arrived yesterday here in Maine!!! It's pretty incredible...my first EV, so the regen braking is fun to get used to...going to get to know it a little more today...woohoo! It definitely turns heads...I hope other drivers staring doesn't cause an accident, lol!

Apparently I was the first delivery out of Chelsea, and just took delivery this AM - super smoooooth and easy! It probably helped that I went to my buddy's delivery earlier this month, and knew what I wanted to focus on. My delivery guys were rock stars. I felt badly that they had to drive my 2500 HD back to Chelsea, as the thing drives like a garbage truck.

Ordered Oct 2019
Launch Green
Black 20" AT's
Spare Wheel (came with the truck)
Floor mats (To be shipped)
Racks (To be shipped)
Charger (To be shipped)
Field kit
UnderBody Protection

So far, so good - Looks amazing in the sunlight.

Anyone in New England on Eversource? If so, are you signing up for Demand Management (basically they shut off the charger during high demand "events" June thru Sept & you get $50/mo ($200/yr). You need an approved charger or a vehicle with telematics though and the Rivian isn't on either list (at least yet). Eversource also offers a $500 rebate on the purchase of an approved charger and a second $500 rebate towards wiring and installation. I'm debating the ChargePoint Home Flex or the Enel X JuiceBox 48. Any recommendations?

pat----
FYI the JuiceBox 48 doesn't really exist right now. I've been trying to get one since December and Enel X keeps telling me it will be available "end of next month". I finally got tired of that and ordered a Wallbox Pulsar Plus 48 instead.

Ah. okay, good to know. At least down here in CT, Eversource is limiting the program to the ChargePoint, the Enel X JuiceBox series and SemeConnect (only 30A) . So I'll want to go with either the CP or Juicebox. If I'm willing to be happy with 40A I can go with one the plugin options for a little less.

I just need to do something soon ... when I had my intro call with my guide & signed the PBA today, she told me I'll likely see the vehicle by the end of May or early June. o_O

im New England and Eversource but I could probably go without getting a charger as there are a bunch between work and home (~7 mile commute) and a public charger (6 kWh…) less than 200 yards from my house. If I get the charger I probably won’t do the plan.

Congrats! What was your order date?
Just a quick shout out to Arlington Auto Detail in Arlington, MA. The owner Steve (who is an EV owner) is great to work with, and his crew did an excellent job on a clear, Xpel PPF partial kit application for the front end of 2 Rivians (my LG and my buddy's Limestone R1T). Same day service too, which was nice! Would def recommend for the front-end and hood. The front is going to be a bug and pebble smasher, and the hood is going to collect snow and ice (without a warm engine underneath it!).

@RITVT believe you said $1,600-$1,700 was the quote (including a two-fer discount). Did that end up being accurate? Thx.
Yes, $1600 for Full Front End paint (includes lights and light bar) Hood + a PPF Strip along the painted top edge of the tailgate (basically where you push the tailgate closed with your hand). That was a 2-fer price... YMMV
