People seem to forget how problematic ICE vehicles were, just a few decades ago. Even still, they‘re plagued with glitches in their more “techie” features. Getting that software updated almost always requires a visit to the dealer — if the manufacturer is even willing/able to update it. And those vehicles have had 100+ years to mature.
Comparatively, EVs seem to be more reliable in the powertrain department, and software updates are plentiful and are accomplished over-the-air while the vehicle sits in your garage/driveway.
I think the title of the article could be swapped to ”Norweigian writer yells at cloud”, and no one would notice.
