I dont think they need to. They have an open line for calling, chatting or emailing, and they are very prompt to responding. If you have a specific question just ask directly, if you want to discuss or speculate then a forum is a great place for it.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but this forum has no affiliation with Rivian other than using the name. I hope the configurator launches on 11/16, but I’m not sure the forum should call it “Our” configurator or expect Rivian corporate to respond to some random threads with tid bits of information from people that have attended shows or contacted Customer Engagment.
For what it's worth, I heard back from the customer service team stating the date that was published was a "placeholder." Who knows! Full quote: "We still plan to launch our configurator tool before the end of the year. You may have seen a web banner published with a placeholder date recently; we understand how excited our community is to start exploring Rivian’s vehicle options and pricing and will share more on configurator timing very soon.
