We have been on vacation in eastern oregon where they put lava rock on the road for ice and snow. When we got home we washed the truck and noticed that we have thousands of little chips in the paint along the bottom of the door panels up about 18”. Also the protective skin on the tunnel doors is all eaten up with marks. Is anyone else having this problem in winter conditions with sand or such on the roads. It was only for 2 weeks.

Not sure it’s pretty damaged. Entire lower sides are chipped all up. Super bad design. There won’t be any paint left in a few years of winter travel. It’s to late to have that film applied to the lower sides I would guess as there are so many chips. They need to at least deliver it with that film on it when purchased or at least have it as an option. I recommend anyone that is going to drive on gravel roads or sanded icy roads to get the film when you first get it. What was an amazing paint job is now destroyed :(
