This Forest Edge interior and Forest Green exterior Rivian R1T was recently delivered.
Video?Someone that commented on the video brought up a good point about increased wear with the Rivian.
"if you're off-roading regularly, it seems the rivian's ~7200lbs curb weight is going to cause serious problems for premature wear and tear on the suspension... even in the video they were going easy on it compared to the raptor. for a road-going truck, give me the rivian in about 2 or 3 years after they work out the kinks. battery technology needs to evolve."
Not criticizing you eHauler, but rather the ignorance of the person who made the comment. Why would the weight of the truck lead to premature suspension wear if the vehicle was designed properly? Does a 747 need the landing gear replaced (or overhauled) after every flight due to the weight of the aircraft? No, because it's designed for those loads. Rivian designed from the ground up, and I'm sure the suspension was designed to handle the weight of the vehicle over the intended uses. The Munroe video points out how robust the suspension elements are.Someone that commented on the video brought up a good point about increased wear with the Rivian.
