Seeing pictures of the Rivian R1S and R1T flexing their adventuring capabilities is the best it gets, especially as a pair of attainable concept car looking vehicles. If you plan to do any adventuring, then this thread should keep you busy till delivery day comes

Happened to find a picture of a Rivian R1T in a city/urban landscape which I might add looks great.
Regardless of the setting I think these will stand out, even among other new and refreshed pickups.

Found some more pictures, one including a rear end shot that makes the R1T seem not all that appealing compared to other angles.
Luckily the rest of it won me over so getting over the rear end might be a matter of seeing on in person.
R1S on the other hand is the most attractive of the two!

Some great shots here and its safe to assume that these two concepts are essentially production ready. Will be very interesting to see how all that torque plays out while adventuring.

There's not much room left for toning these down and compared to every other new vehicle i see in todays market, these are just a bit ahead of their time.
In a way Rivian didn't have a choice, otherwise it would be another 1500/F-150/etc. looking pickup.
Since basically no one had heard about them following these reveals, their unique styling direction is the best way for them to distinguish themselves in the segment. I really like the front fascia and the headlights that they refer to as 'stadium lights'.

Rivian will have to do well at educating people because its not a regular pickup, aside from the fact its electric. Instead its part of a whole move for more adventure based vehicles. Adoption rates of these will be interesting considering that.
