Every one who is a pre-order customer or has subscribed to Rivian's stories should've had a Postcard from South America in their inbox.

More details from the link above that we weren't sure of...

- For starters the pack in the trucks is a 135kWh. They touted 314 miles of range..."had juice left over".
- On their facebook page, someone asked, "How are you charging as you drive north?" They didn't admit to being part of The Long Way Up, but they stated that they along with some partnering are installing 40A Level 2 Chargers every 100 miles as they drive north. Not because they have to charge that frequently, but because they wanted to leave infrastructure behind.
- 6% regen recapture on the largest downhill section.
- 14,800ft was the highest elevation they charged at.

Keep the news coming Rivian!

I'm the sure the main reason for them was for precaution. But regardless It's great that they're building extra chargers for the infrastructure.

The photos that they posted are incredible too!
