Does anyone know the distance between the 2 crossbars when they are mounted both on the roof and over the bed. Thanks

prob both depending on situation ideal would be on bed but if i have to ill do on the roof

When I ordered my R1T 10/12/20, I configured it with roof bars for my bikes. I later added the Yakama tent option and it removed my roof bars. I wanted both the set that came with the tent AND a set for the roof for the bikes. I contacted customer support via the chat as was mentioned above. Upon doing so, I was told they are totally interchangeable, but that they were so tight on inventory, they were limiting customers to 1 set initially and since the tent comes with a set, the others were removed by the configurator. When I stated that I wanted both, Emily told me that was the current limit, but maybe closer to delivery, or after the fact I could add them.

Has anyone asked if the roof bars can be purchased after vehicle delivery?

I have no immediate needs for the bars, but I'm not opposed to buying them at a later date if need be.

CS told me yes, although warranty is better is purchased with vehicle.
