Launch edition R1T arrived today in Ventura, CA. Delivery went very smoothly and the driver was very excited. Took it for a spirited drive up canyons and it felt great. Hope they increase production for those still waiting.
Awesome, when did you pre-order, and what did you order with the configuration?

Congratulations on your new R1T @Tws1986! How are you enjoying it so far? What's stood out to you the most on that drive in the canyons?

It did well in the canyons at average speeds. The regen braking does a great job before a turn and never needed to use the brake pedal. Learned about how the drive mode impacts the experience. Had it in conserve for the begining of the drive to the start of the canyon. No issues with available power, but it created a tiny bit of under steer. As soon as it was in all purpose or sport, it all went away and it started rotating nicely on the hair pins. Your suspension settings in conserve mode enable the vehicle to go to it's lowest settings, when you hit rough patches it got unsettled. Swapping it to all purpose, it won't go past low and it was great after that. The UI has loads of configurations for drive modes and it'll take time to get in the habit of using them when out of the norm.

From the sounds of it all purpose seems to be the way to go for that kind of driving. Was it easy to get used to the regen braking and one pedal driving?

Congrats! Could you do me a quick favor and measure the height of the tailgate from the ground when the tailgate is open? Obviously this will vary depending on what ride height you have set so if you don't mind giving me the range from when at ride height is at minimum to maximum that would be awesome.
