Mine is Feb 13, 2019. But I have no idea how early is that regarding other pre orders and all the other criteria that counts for delivery. But it would be special to get my R1S in August!

Also, you can login in the webpage and see the date.

I was Sept of 2019, and I think my position is around 16,000. I would think that early 2019 reservation would get a call by end of summer.

Yeah I ordered mine on Nov 29th, 2018 and I have no idea where I am in line!
Reservation through late 2019 seemed to be sequential starting at 1000, with another unexplained jump somewhere between then and when they moved away from the sequential scheme in late 2019. I’m Sept 2019, and my number is 16,xxx.

I don't know where exactly you are looking at this. Can you help? If I go to my account page I only see rivian.com/account/home. Then if I check the link from the original confirmation email it is something like:

preorders.rivian.com/2322956XXX/orders/f04c2280XXXa73d7ee18e524e339d040/authenticate?key=ab5cc9f26c3a45d68ccff99ed4XXXa5c

where I replace some numbers with XXX for privacy. How do I get my order number? PS: I ordered it in Feb 13, 2019.

Pull up your configuration summary, the URL should look like this where XXXX is your order number. Although as mentioned in many threads, at some point the number changed from a sequential number to a more random number so it may or may not yield any better information for you.

Found it. Thank you!

According to @Wildabeest it still works for early 2019 so I am good. I am like #7000. You are saying I reduce 1000 so I am about 6000 in line! Looks great. Let us hope the initial people are not all LE guys and girls 😂😂.

I think it was sometime around the reveal in Nov 2018 that they changed the numbering scheme. Can’t remember exactly.

Pure speculation but I've long been thinking they're going to do 5k LE's for both R1T and R1S - with a proposed peak throughput of ~800 vehicles per week, that roughly lines up to have all 10k delivered before 2022, which I believe they've stated they're aiming for.

If any of my math is correct then I'm not sure an order number really means much. I got an LE reserved and I didn't finally pony up my reservation until October of 2020.

Yes, the order number for LEs only comes into play as one of the LE delivery factors if you configured an LE in the first few days it was opened before they filled up.

They did not limit who could reserve an LE based on your original order numbers or deposit dates.

Correction, according to this thread, it looks like sequential number was still in place at least through May 2020 with order numbers above 50,000. However it appears there was a 20,000 jump/gap in there somewhere as well.

I was following for a long time but not plop the 1K down until June 8th, 2020. I'm in the 50K sequence
