Well, the 25k for Rivian was not just R1Ts, it was total; vans included. Ford hit 30k EVs in '22, so for all the good things Rivian can espire to, beating Ford's ramp-up ability is probably not a battle Rivian can win... Any time soon anyway.

Where did you find Ford hit 30K units produced? As of 12/22/2022 they had produced 15K units. Through the end of November Ford produces 13,258 units. I simply do not believe they produced 30K in 2022.
Overnight, it looks like Rivian reported a total just shy of 25,000 vehicles manufactured for 2022. That said, the company is indicating that they had several hundred additional vehicles that were nearly ready but were awaiting parts or service. Hopefully that means a floor of 40,000 vehicles for 2023, with the potential for more if ramp up can continue.

Well, it's a free country, you can believe what you like lol. However it looks like the actual number of bevs sold by Ford in 2022 was closer to 53,000.

Wait a sec, BEVs probably INCLUDES Mustang Mach Es. And if that is true, my original statement is correct, Ford cannot claim that they are the #1 electric TRUCK vehicle manufacturer.However it looks like the actual number of bevs sold by Ford in 2022 was closer to 53,000.

Ah... yes... if you squint just right, it does look that way.
For Rivian I was counting:
-R1T (pickup)
-R1S (SUV)
-Vans
For Ford I was counting:
-Lightning (pickup)
-Mach-E (SUV)
-Vans
I can certainly see where if you consider the Mach-E to be too small of an SUV to count, then you could toss those out.
I do believe that the statement from Ford was meant to mean pickups, however; Lightning vs R1T. In that case, it would look like Ford's statement was probably accurate (again, depending on how you squint). It seems pretty close.
Geesh... we must both have a little too much time on our hands to be looking at it this closely.

Rivian has built > 25,000 vehicles.
They built 24,337 in 2022 and 1,015 in 2021 for a total of 25,352.

You are correct, but their projections were to build 25k in 2022. That didn't happen. Stock prices went down.
