I originally selected the all weather mats for my R1S configuration, but dropped them to switch back to the Chilewich matts. These look awesome! A nice premium touch.

From another forum I saw someone report that you'll get both sets if you order the all-weather, according to Rivian CS.

@inkedsphynx I think that approach is slowly becoming a standard thing with most automakers. A lot of them already do it. Here though, I think the winter mats won't be good enough for everyone. Something from brands like WeatherTech that holds in more mess might be needed.

@eHauler I think it will come down to seeing the all-weather mats in person. The channel groove on the outside looks pretty deep to me, and that's really the important part - can it hold enough water/snowmelt to keep the floor dry. Another area where I'm putting my trust in Rivian to get it right, given their focus on the types of use cases that will generate lots of mud/water/snowmelt/etc.

If they aren't great then it's not much money wasted in the scope of the overall cost of the truck and there will definitely be aftermarket options. I'm in for them on my order with all that in mind

To me, what is under the mats is important. If it is carpet, then all-weather mats are needed (if in snowy areas). If it is non-carpet (maybe rubberized), an all weather mat seems overkill.

Living in the Northeast I always get the all weather mats for my vehicles. It isn't as much the snow but the salt and dirt
