According to the videos Rivian shared with Brennan Boblett, Director of UX Design, there are 5 main presets for drive modes:
- All-Purpose

- Offroad
- Towing
It would be cool but I'd be worried on how much wear it'd put on the suspension if it did that every time.I wonder how long it takes to lower the truck to lowest mode. It would be awesome if it auto lowered on approach for easy entry
I guess if you keep it in all-purpose mode, at least when you park it then it shouldn't be an issue climbing in and out.Cars and trucks with air today usually have a setting to auto-lower once the doors are all closed and the car is put in "PARK". This is usually a configuration setting, and if suspension is mapped to a FOB, the next time you enter the vehicle the height will auto-adjust based on the driver/FOB once the car is started and all doors are closed. Lowering for parking will be a nice feature for a truck or SUV for easier ingress & egress, and takes just a few seconds.
