On Rivian's website they have updated their map of service center locations in the United States and Canada, including the locations of future centers.

I just reached out to my local PA representative asking to look at our direct-to-consumer dealership laws. Seems like a missed opportunity to allow only Tesla, limiting competition to the likes of Rivian and others, while surrounding states are creating jobs in service centers at the expense of PA. Figure if more of us make similar requests, there might be action?????Glad to see more SC's in the NE but am struggling to figure how the NYC area gets six clustered within about a 30 mile radius while PA gets none, and the the Phila metro area only one and that across the river in NJ. I know PA is not friendly toward the no-dealer model, but Tesla has figured out how to put service centers in the state.
Does anyone have any info on the one they are working on in Los Angeles? From the map, it looks like it's going to be in the Pasadena area?On Rivian's website they have updated their map of service center locations in the United States and Canada, including the locations of future centers.

Great idea. I'll do likewise.I just reached out to my local PA representative asking to look at our direct-to-consumer dealership laws. My order was in April of 2019 and they don't even have one in the works in Hawaii!!! That sucks! On Rivian's website they have updated their map of service center locations in the United States and Canada, including the locations of future centers.

There are two problems making any assumptions related to this map if you’re not in a city with a service center already. 1. How far away from a service center is too far to take delivery? I’ve asked this question with CS several times and never gotten a straight answer. 2. Assuming you take delivery outside of a city with a service center how often are you going to be driving (or being towed) at your own time and expense for warranty related work that can’t be completed by mobile service? And finally, what’s the working plan for the future for providing service to the black hole areas.I really hope that they just "dropped a pin" on San Antonio and are not planning on putting the service center on the near east side of downtown. That might be more convenient for people coming from Laredo (on 35) or Corpus Christi (on 37), but their demographic would best be served somewhere on I-10 West near 1604 or beyond.
