If you get the 400 mile range R1S, you won't have a third row, because of the extra space needed by the battery packs.

That has been the understanding to date, but it is contradicted by the FAQ they just launched: https://rivian.com/support/article/will-the-r1s-have-a-third-row-seat-option

Maybe the 180kWh version won't have the fold flat third row but will still have a third row?
