I'm not a fan but can understand why somebody would go with that color. Darker blues like it are common with upscale SUVs but I don't think it suits the R1S. Rivian Blue is still the best blue out there for these vehicles, IMO.

Any vehicle wrapped does two things; first puts a chip resistant cover over the original paint that can be removed in the future and change the color too! This cover keeps the original finish unblemished. I see it here in Miami on a number of cars and trucks. Some even wrap in "Clear" just to protect the paint from minot scratches.

This is my R1s. It is color wrapped in iridescent Blue Black. It then has full PPG wrap and Ceramic coating over that. I have loved this color for years and there was no question for me. I also tinted the front windows to match rear and the windshield to reduce summer heat.

Very fitting color. Only small critique I have is the front bumper and the roof. I would have left them black, but to each their own. Glad you got your R1S and are making it yours.

I tend to agree. But it looks very cool regardless.
