I have seen one at the NY car show. They would not let me sit in it. I'm 6-1 so not as tall as your friend. That said there is a lot of room in the R1T. It appeared to me that a 6-6 or 6-8 person would be comfortable.
Apparently Shaq fits just fine: https://insideevs.com/news/353523/shaq-rivian-r1t-electric-pickup-truck/A friend of mine is looking at getting an R1T but he's curious if it'll fit him.
Sometimes EVs have to make compromises on space and I don't know if the space under the floor for the batteries impacts overall interior room.
Oh, he's 6'6". Has anyone that tall sat inside one yet?
There needs to be some kind of Shaq rating system to show how much room a vehicle has.WOW! Shaq fits... guess it's definitely not a issue then.
The video of him getting in is in Shaqs instagram
I'm not that tall, but def hoping for confortable seats. I'm too used to the SQ5Incredible how much headroom he still has.
Is anyone concerned about the other dimensions like shoulder room, seat bolster position, lumbar support and position, etc.? I rather not find out the seats are uncomfortable after being 1-3 months into ownership.
I bet we will see some differences between seats in the Rivian SUV and Rivian pickup truck. In the truck its a double-cab format with seats for five, much like a traditional truck's double-cab setup. Looking at the prototype, seat measurements sure seem traditional:I'm not that tall, but def hoping for confortable seats. I'm too used to the SQ5
