Does anyone know what kind of trailer this Rivian is towing?
It looks to be if I'm reading that name correctly, a Hemisphere, by Forest River. Hemisphere | Forest River RV - Manufacturer of Travel Trailers - Fifth Wheels - Tent Campers - MotorhomesDoes anyone know what kind of trailer this Rivian is towing?
You think it’s that good?1kwh/mi right there.....
That may be optimistic given the likely drag of such a large trailer The OOS drag simulation test of the R1T towing a small utility trailer with a 4x8 sheet of plywood mounted vertically returned 0.77 kWh/mi.1kwh/mi right there.....
I have this camera. I use it when in tight camp grounds, when I’m with the camper by myself, or when the weather is terrible. Does the job, I would buy it again.i wish rivian had the pro trailer backup assist like the ford f150s. that thing is a must have for rv noobs like me.
Ford’s backup assist isn’t just a camera. It actually does the steering conversion based on how trailers “flip” the direction. A natural action for people who tow all the time, but a HUGE help for those who tow occasionally and have to really think about how to backup with a trailer.I have this camera. I’ll save you some $$$$. Put your hand on the bottom of the steering wheel. Whichever way your hand goes is the direction that the back of the trailer will go.Ford’s backup assist isn’t just a camera. My anxiety would be through the roof towing a trailer that size.i wish rivian had the pro trailer backup assist like the ford f150s. that thing is a must have for rv noobs like me.
You really have to pick and chose where you go with larger ones. Many camp grounds up here in AK don’t allow campers >25’ tongue to bumper. My 22BHS is just under 26’ and I make it. I don’t have any issues anywhere I go but we don’t really have city driving anywhere up here. Going larger then what I have really limits the places you can go.My anxiety would be through the roof towing a trailer that size.
For me if I was going this large would do a 5th wheel. Every time I see someone with a huge bumper pull it looks awkward. Now those are some serious trailers.
