Yeah that truck has been around for such a long time. I'm surprised Toyota never brought the name over to America. The Toyota Hilux is ancient even when compared to the F-150, something only they can get away with in 2020.
Trust me! I have asked the same question.Yeah that truck has been around for such a long time. I'm surprised Toyota never brought the name over to America.
That's true there's no need to mess up a good thing. Though I wonder if they ever considered using the Hilux name as a trim level for the Tacoma lol.Trust me! I have asked the same question.
It might have to do with Tacoma sales being so strong, Why bother launching another pickup when one already serves a similar crowd and leads the segment while doing it?
Then they have the Tundra.
Actually, they did use it.. I had a 1972 Toyota Hilux in Highschool.. it was originally bought by an older brother who sold it to me when he joined the Navy... A great little truck, but not much horsepower.Yeah that truck has been around for such a long time. I'm surprised Toyota never brought the name over to America.
