Certainly possibly ... and most definitely welcomed. Or it might be the result of Amazon making a strong suggestion to Rivian to be there ... ya know, the whole $700m thing.

After all, the technology in today's EVs, especially the likes of Tesla and Rivian, is less about the mechanical and more about the electronics and software. The latter two being a perfect fit for CES. Good place for Rivian to network that may foster future sales / partnerships / leasing of their technology. Over time I can easily see Rivian's revenue stream be less from EVs and more from their technology (similar to Ford using Rivian's platform in the Lincoln) leasing their tech to even non-automotive related industries.
