That tweet didn't sound at all like sour grapes from a guy that was let go. Sounds like he was passionate and proud of the work he did at Rivian and has made a decision to move on to another phase of his life. Family? Health reasons? who knows? It amazes me how negative people can be on forums.
He may have had a 12 or 13 month lock up due to being a director. His shares are cheap and probably has a lot of them. His job is largely done and he can ride off into the sunset or find a new challenge somewhere.
