Hi All! Those who have gotten their wall charger installed, who/which electrician did you use? Anyone tried doing it yourself? Does King County require a permit for car charger installation?

I got my wall charger delivered this week and have a QMerit valuation in progress, but just wondering what have others done.

Thanks and happy adventuring! :)

I used Qmerit and it worked out great. Yes, you need a permit for the install, I think it was $350. Qmerit takes care of everything. It was great

If you've done electrical work in the past (i.e. added a new breaker to an existing panel) it's really not hard to DIY. The only thing that makes it a bit difficult is that to get it up to code the wires you've gotta use are thick and can be a real pain to work with depending on where you have to route from your panel to the charger.
